This Gin, produced entirely in England, was launched on the market in 2006 and immediately attracted the attention of the public, especially young people, and critics alike, thanks also to its appealing look. Sophisticated and complex, it is the product of four distillations, carried out according to the traditional method of the discontinuous copper pot still, and is purified by no less than three filtration cycles, to bring out its aromatic characteristics to the full. Innovative in its aromas, it is by far the first gin to combine exotic ingredients, such as poppy seeds, dragon's eye (a Chinese fruit similar to lychee) and lotus leaves, as well as other, more classic botanicals, including juniper, almonds and lemon. A new and completely different taste, best enjoyed as a base for numerous cocktails, to which it will lend a special tropical flavour.
Brilliant and transparent, it presents an aroma of white flowers, jasmine and lily of the valley, together with citrusy hints of lime and sweeter, roasted notes of hazelnut and almond, as well as light mineral sensations. The taste impact expresses juniper and the freshness of aromatic herbs, as well as vegetal sensations of cut grass and notes of crisp white fruits, together with hints of lavender, for a floral and warm finish.
